Coming from your country to France by plane
Most long haul flights arrive in France at Roissy CDG Airport (North-East of Paris).
However some companies arrive in Orly Airport (South of Paris).
You can check it on these sites:
From both Paris Airports, you can reach Marseille Provence Airport by domestic flights (Air-France).
TGV (Fast speed train) is an alternative (see hereafter "By Train").
You can also arrive directly in Marseille Provence Airport from 23 countries in Europe,
several cities from Africa and Middle-East, Montreal (Canada) and Shanghai (China).
For people coming from Japan (Tokyo Narita or Haneda) it is also possible to reach Marseille
without connection in Paris, but with a connection instead in Istanbul (using Turkish Airlines),
or in some large airports in Western Europe: Amsterdam (using KLM),
Frankfurt or Munich (using Lufthansa), Madrid (using Iberia)…. Please check:

Other airports are located in Avignon, Nimes and Montpellier, but even if they appear closer
to Arles than Marseille, the connections with Arles are less convenient.
