FAST-zero’25 will be held on 2025 September 23-26 in Arles, a city with an history of two millennia located in the South Area of France. It will be organized by the Laboratory of Accident Mechanisms Analysis of Gustave Eiffel University with JSAE. This return of FAST-zero in Europe will coincide with the 40Th birthday of this Laboratory. Following the tradition of FAST-zero symposia, we will bring together researchers and engineers from industry and academia to present the current state-of-the-art and progress in research and development of active safety technologies. Innovation in the field of active safety is the key driving force towards the ultimate goal of realizing zero traffic accidents. Researchers around the world have been investigating methods for active safety to reduce and possibly eliminate the number of traffic accidents as well as road fatalities. Automated and connected vehicles, that have experienced a great improvement in the last years, have the potential to enhance safety. However human factors and validation / assessment of active safety devices are also in the scope of this symposium.
The organizers are looking forward to your contribution and to see you in person at FAST-zero’25
